Meadowmere Farms · circa 1954

It started in 1954

Berl Buis and Daughters raised prime angus cattle in Marion, IN. Berl owned a locker plant and freezer-meat business. The work was honest, the standard was high, and that's the line we're still walking today.

The next generation

Derek Middlesworth (great grandson to Berl) and Matthew Seibel raise every animal right here at Meadowmere Cattle Co in Grant County, Indiana. The family legacy gets passed down — and the commitment to doing it right hasn't budged.

Farm to freezer

Processing is handled at a trusted local butcher right here in Indiana. Quality and care at every step.

What we do

We sell beef the simple way: half or whole animal. Pasture raised, grain finished, custom cut. We also run a bred heifer program for producers building or expanding their herd.

“Once you taste the difference, you'll understand why we keep doing it this way.”
